Alfred E. Mann - The Philanthropist
Alfred E. Mann is a visionary philanthropist and serial billionaire who has committed the vast majority of his fortune to the benefit of mankind to expedite the delivery of life-improving biomedical products to patients. This will be accomplished through the establishment of AMIs on university campuses to improve the transfer of medical technologies from the university research laboratories to the bedside with focus and efficiency. Mr. Mann also supports Arts and Music foundations.
In addition to his philanthropic activities, Mr. Mann also is a Trustee for the University of Southern California and a member of the Board of Directors for the Nevada Cancer Institute and the Cerebral Palsy International Research Foundation. He also serves as the Chairman of the Southern California Biomedical Council, a nonprofit association dedicated to the fostering of the biomedical industry in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
