Freedom to Publish

The protection and promotion of freedom to publish and independence in selection of research projects is an important component of an AMI. Faculty associated with an AMI and advisors retain the right to publish the results of any research conducted on behalf of an Institute, although a delay may be requested for a reasonable period of time to allow the Institute’s legal staff to assure the protection of the intellectual property.
